London Town

Went for a walk around good ol' London Town today, around the London Bridge. Always one of my favourite places to spend time, because it was where I was born, and spent 3 years of my life before my family moved to the South-East.

Started off outside the Mayor's O
ffice, to look at The Telectroscope. Basically, it's a giant webcam. Us lot in London can wave to those in New York City and vice versa, as the following picture will show. Incredibly clever and great fun, go check it out before it leaves on June 15th.

Then we walked further up the river, to where we used to live. It's just such an amazing place, wish I still lived there. So many old buildings, with so much history. This following picture just sums up London for me, how it used to be. This is a stone's throw from where I used to live, I can remember many a walk along here when I was younger.

Finally, it was off to Borough Market. Of all the years I've lived in this city, I've never stepped foot in this place, but it's always been on my list of places to visit. Such a buzzing place, was packed solid with people trying out the various different stalls. For those not familiar, it's a big food market. Has everything from meats, fruit, flowers etc.

I couldn't imagine living anywhere else...
