Friday 5th August 2011 - Painting With Light

In what is going to be the first of many examples of me challenging myself with my camera, here is a photo of something a little different.

I've always wanted to "paint with light". I've always loved doing light trails of passing cars and more recently was inspired by the work of Colin Elliot, a great photographer who's the master at painting with light. It's incredibly hard. I kept getting my arm in the photo - must wear long black sleeves next time. For a first attempt, I'm pretty pleased with this - edited a bit just for artyness.

Let me know ya thoughts, and I'd be grateful for any tips from anyone who's managed to master this technique!
